Phil Hebert, CPA
Phil Hebert is the firm’s founder and Managing Director. He began his career in accounting in 1987 and established Hebert Johnson & Associates, CPA (formerly Phil Hebert, CPA) in 2005. Phil works with clients to assist in comprehensive tax planning and preparation, auditing and attestation services, data processing, system evaluation and implementation, and other strategic accounting and consulting services.

Chris Johnson, CPA
Chris Johnson currently serves as our firm’s Audit Director and Senior Manager in our Albany office. He began his career in accounting in 2007 when he joined the firm of Hebert Johnson & Associates, CPA (formerly Phil Hebert, CPA.) He became a partner in 2015. Chris works with clients to assist in auditing and attestation services, comprehensive tax planning and preparation, data processing, system evaluation and implementation, and other strategic accounting and consulting services.

Adam Hebert, CPA
Adam currently serves as a Senior Accountant in our firm. He began his career in the firm as an intern in 2014. He became a full time Accountant in 2017. Adam works with clients to assist in auditing and attestation services, comprehensive tax planning and preparation, data processing, system evaluation and implementation, and other strategic accounting and consulting services.

Michelle Firmin, Albany Office Manager, Certified Bookkeeper
Michelle currently serves as the Office Manager and Bookkeeper for our Albany location. She began her Bookkeeping career in 2003. She worked for two years as the Bookkeeper and Town Clerk for the Village of Tickfaw. For the next 14 years, Michelle was employed with Oak Knoll Country Club as the Accounting Manager and Bookkeeper. She joined our firm in October of 2019. Her responsibilities include bookkeeping, payroll, scheduling, and other organizational duties.

Autumn Speshock, Accountant
Autumn currently serves as an Accountant in our firm. She began her career in the firm as an intern in 2021. She became a full time Accountant in 2022 after graduating from Southeastern Louisiana with her bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Autumn works with clients to assist in auditing and attestation services, comprehensive tax planning and preparation, and bookkeeping.

Melissa Hebert, Ponchatoula Office Manager
Melissa Hebert, Ponchatoula Office Manager at Hebert Johnson & Associates, CPA. Melissa currently serves as the Office Manager for our Ponchatoula location. She joined our firm in 2016 after she retired as a 25 year teacher. She has a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision. Her responsibilities include assisting with payroll, scheduling, marketing, and other organizational duties.

Daniela Morales, Accountant
Daniela began as an intern in 2023, and became a full time accountant in 2024 after graduating from Southeastern Louisiana University with bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
